Hire a full-stack developer in the Philippines.

KodebyKarl is led by Karl L. Darnayla, a Philippines-based software engineer who builds web apps, mobile apps and business systems himself, from the database to the screen. You talk to the person who writes the code, with a fixed quote and a clear schedule.

In short

A freelance full-stack developer designs and builds both the part users see and the server and database behind it. Working with one engineer directly means fewer handoffs, fewer misunderstandings and a person who is accountable for the whole system.

What you get.

  • You talk to the engineer

There is no layer of account managers. The person who builds your system is the person who answers your messages.

  • Full-stack delivery

Front end, back end, database, hosting and deployment from one place, in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, Python, PHP and PostgreSQL.

  • Web, mobile and hardware

A single project can include a web dashboard, an iOS and Android app and connected hardware such as receipt printers or NFC cards.

  • A fixed quote

After a short discovery call you receive a written quote with deliverables, milestones and a timeline, in pesos or US dollars.

  • Regular demos

Work happens in two-week sprints with demos on a staging site, so you see the real system while changes are still cheap.

  • Support after launch

A bug warranty of at least 30 days, and an optional monthly retainer for maintenance, backups and small changes.

Experience you can check

Karl has been building software professionally since 2022, with more than twenty projects completed. They include MCFG Cloud, a VPN management platform serving over a thousand active users in 5+ countries; booking websites for more than ten Philippine bus companies; point of sale and inventory systems; and the official city apps MyNaga for Naga City and KaisaKa for Santiago City, built with EasyBus PH.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Our Lady of Fatima University and fourteen certifications in networking, cybersecurity and web development, including Cisco CCNA courses.

What you can hire for

Websites and online stores, custom business software and SaaS platforms, mobile apps for iOS and Android, point of sale and inventory systems, UI and UX design, maintenance of an existing system, and IT networking. Each of these has its own page with what is included and how the work goes.

Working with clients in the Philippines and abroad

KodebyKarl works with local and international clients. Quotes can be in Philippine pesos or US dollars, and payment is by bank transfer, GCash, Maya, PayMongo, Stripe, PayPal, or Wise for international invoices. Payment follows three milestones, 40% at signing, 30% at a working staging build and 30% at sign-off, and you own the code once the final payment is made.

Questions people ask.

Who will I be working with?
You will talk directly to Karl L. Darnayla, the engineer who builds the system. Richelle Alvarez handles the first reply to your message, scheduling and client coordination.
How do I start a project?
Send a message with the kind of system you need, the problem you want to solve and any deadline. If it looks like a fit, you book a 20-minute discovery call and receive a one-page quotation within a day.
How long does a project take?
Most projects take three to twelve weeks. A custom business website is typically three to four weeks, a point of sale and inventory system five to seven, and a web and mobile product with several user roles eight to twelve.
Do you work with clients outside the Philippines?
Yes. KodebyKarl works with local and international clients and quotes in either pesos or US dollars.
Who owns the code?
You do. Ownership of the custom work transfers to you once the final payment is made, and the code is handed over at launch.

Tell me what you need to run.

Send a message and I will reply myself, usually within a day.
